Who We Are
Jukwaa la Demokrasia is a non-partisan, youth-led organization dedicated to strengthening Kenyan democracy through civic education, leadership development, and active citizen engagement.
Founded in 2025, we emerged from the recognition that Kenya's democratic future depends on an informed and engaged youth population. With over 75% of Kenya's population under 35 years, young people are not just the future—they are the present of our democracy.
Our name, "Jukwaa la Demokrasia" (Platform for Democracy), reflects our commitment to creating spaces where young voices are heard, valued, and integrated into governance processes.
